1) Access to palliative care<\/b>

2) Expanding\nMAID to mental illness<\/b>
\nThis expansion is being debated in Ottawa and could move forward as early as\nMarch 2027.

3) Giving\npeople with disabilities who don’t wish to live in a CHSLD (long-term care\nhome) a choice<\/b>
\nTwo political parties have made proposals along these lines:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

– <\/span>The bill on Self-Directed Personal Assistance<\/a> for people with disabilities,\ntabled last spring by the Parti Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois and supported by Coop ASSIST and its\npresident, Jonathan Marchand.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/p>
