Indeed, CBC (once again) aired\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/alexschadenberg.blogspot.ca\/2017\/12\/cbc-aires-propaganda-programming.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">propaganda programs<\/a>\u00a0supporting of assisted suicide, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ledevoir.com\/societe\/sante\/515529\/aide-a-mourir\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=fr&amp;q=http:\/\/www.ledevoir.com\/societe\/sante\/515529\/aide-a-mourir&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1514067527203000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHqDVFF1n8LbI1Vb0-s49AV2f9kLw\">two complacent articles<\/a>\u00a0suggesting that we should (already!) consider expanding the assisted suicide law, basically for people \u201ctired of living\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fmsq.org\/en\/mediatheque\/editions\/le-specialiste\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=fr&amp;q=https:\/\/www.fmsq.org\/en\/mediatheque\/editions\/le-specialiste&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1514067527203000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGfyxJy3i6DGrzr6e-ZyAZhOOnycA\">a study was published<\/a>\u00a0in the magazine\u00a0<i>Le Sp\u00e9cialiste<\/i>, the official magazine of the\u00a0<i>F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des m\u00e9decins sp\u00e9cialistes du Qu\u00e9bec (FMSQ)<\/i>, to present the results of a survey of 61 Laval doctors who received a request for \u201cmedical aid in dying\u201d (euthanasia). According to the results of the study, 77% of them refused to participate actively in the euthanasia process by exercising their right to conscientious objection.<\/p>\n<p>However, the CISSS Laval research\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lapresse.ca\/actualites\/sante\/201712\/13\/01-5147076-aide-medicale-a-mourir-beaucoup-de-medecins-refusent-de-ladministrer.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=fr&amp;q=http:\/\/www.lapresse.ca\/actualites\/sante\/201712\/13\/01-5147076-aide-medicale-a-mourir-beaucoup-de-medecins-refusent-de-ladministrer.php&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1514067527203000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHtetR_TiwnNQRjUXUEY8NTKmzFVA\">suggests<\/a>\u00a0that only 14% of physicians would have had\u00a0<i>real<\/i>\u00a0conscientious objections (morals). As a result, the other doctors who refused to intentionally cause the death of their patients would not have had, so to speak, a\u00a0<i>valid reason<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Yet 59% of the physicians surveyed said that the reason for their refusal came from the emotional burden that would be too heavy to bear\u2026 which is in fact a moral conscientious objection, as the\u00a0<i>Physicians\u2019 Alliance against Euthanasia<\/i>\u00a0explained very well in their excellent\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/collectifmedecins.org\/en\/theory-meets-reality\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=fr&amp;q=https:\/\/collectifmedecins.org\/en\/theory-meets-reality\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1514067527203000&amp;usg=AFQjCNF5aimQNvfZo1q_xMGDzl1qESBBQA\">press release<\/a>\u00a0on the study in question.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2017 comes to an end with a final month representative of the ideological porridge that sprouts in our society: normalizing euthanasia.
