A Word from the Director<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>

You may have had the impression that Living with Dignity<\/em> has been more reserved lately and\u2026 you would not be entirely wrong. At least on the surface.<\/p>

On the one hand, this relative calm comes from the fact that I had the recurred joy of being a father; this time to a second little boy.<\/p>

Indeed, although I continued to follow my projects and give a few lectures \u2013 notably at the Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke and at the
Conference of the Physicians\u2019 Alliance against euthanasia <\/em>\u2013 I took advantage of the time my paternity leave offered me to devote more time to my family and thus properly welcome this new little baby who had just arrived in our lives.<\/p>

On the other hand, the LWD team and I took advantage of the last few months to step back and take stock of the situation in Quebec and Canada in order to give our organization an action plan for the coming years. This process of reflection has been profitable, and I am happy to tell you that Living with Dignity<\/em> is back in action with its hands full of projects.<\/p>

Our first project will consist in hiring a part-time assistant to
help me in my tasks, both to make it possible for us to carry out our projects and to allow us to extend the scope of our involvement, especially during the election campaign that is coming up in Quebec.<\/p>
