Neither capital punishment nor euthanasia

We do not have the death penalty in Canada, partly because there is an unacceptable risk that innocent people could be killed. We should not legalize euthanasia because the risk of people dying for no reason is equally unacceptable.

National dialogue on end of life care

The Canadian Medical Association is currently conducting a dialog on end-of-life care. They are asking for the participation of physicians who are members through a website, as well as meetings throughout the country. As this dialogue is only for physicians, they have organised a site so those of us who aren't doctors can participate.
